*NEW* Exceptionally well struck on both sides and one of the finest of the type I have seen. This issue comes with all kinds of striking issues, mainly just soft, mushy areas somewhere on the coin. This is a rare exception that shows even chocolate brown color and nice glowing surfaces. You won’t find a better example at twice the price.

*NEW* This is a Fugio that makes no excuses. It is fully struck...sharp and even. I have to repeat that because I can seldom say those words when describing a Fugio Cent. It is fully struck…well I guess the last “s” in “BUSINESS” is weak…, but I’m still calling it fully struck. Every letter, every detail of the obverse design is crisp. A strong die clash shows incuse images of the reverse rings on the obverse, a common characteristic of the type and a die clash that adds to the appeal to my way of thinking. Reverse is as struck as they come with all lettering crisp. The planchet is completely problem free. Surfaces are wonderful and lustrous. Even chocolate brown overall with just some slight darkening around the “FU” of FUGIO at 8 0’clock. GREAT FUGIO.

A very pleasing example of this popular New Jersey variety. Showing a solid, even strike with full lettering front and back and complete shield lines. Lovely two tone even brown. A problem free, eye-appealing example. Struck under the authority of the New Jersey General Assembly, these coppers were to pass at 15 to the shilling in colonial America.

A superior uncirculated example showing a full, strong strike with great even chocolate brown color and full luster. Very pleasing in every way. A wonderfully pleasing Gem with an even blend of chocolate brown color mixed with considerable original RED in and around the devices on both sides. Very tough date to find with any RED. Pop of only 7 in MS65RB. Compare that to the 1855 date which show an NGC pop of 60 in MS65RB.

From a fresh collection and a superb coin for the grade. Very scarce with RED color, this piece has considerable rosy-violet RED on both sides, with the obverse around 50% Red and the reverse about 80% red. Well struck overall with clean surfaces and full luster. No spots or blochy toning. Top end of the grade and great Eye-appeal. I need to get a subscription to the NGC pop, but I believe that it was 5 with 2 higher when I researched it at the Baltimore show. An amazing early Coronet Cent.

*Aspen Park Collection - HT-192, Dover NH* Very choice uncirculated specimen and the ONLY uncirculated example graded at NGC. A very scarce token with only three submitted for grading in all. One VF, one XF and this coin, the only Unc. Deep chocolate brown with tinges of RED in and around the lettering and devices on both sides. Strong, even strike and good luster. Considerably finer than the Ford specimen, which was AU.
