1795 Dollar PCGS VF35 *ON HOLD - NEW* (B-5, 3 Leaf) Very attractive original and very sharply struck, particularly for the B-5, which tended to have a fairly high relief portrait that was subject to wear. This piece is strongly struck on both sides and shows deep original antique two-tone patina, giving it a very appealing look. Free of marks and distractions and no adjustment marks. A superior Flowing hair in every respect. $9500.00
1798 Dollar PCGS XF40 *NEW* (B-31, BB-115) Very pleasing original with light to medium two-tone gray patina. Super clean surfaces, distraction free and no adjustment marks. Nicely struck with good hair detail and full Eagle feathers and shield. Slight weakness in the stars and clouds at the right of the reverse, as is common to this variety. In his standard reference, "Silver Dollars of the United States', David Bowers states, "1798 BB-115 is known to the extent of about 175-300 coins, and is one of the more elusive issues of the year". Bowers lists the condition census as 55-50-50-45, making this coin among the finest of the variety. $5650.00
1799 Dollar NGC AU50 *NEW* An exceptionally nice, totally original, conservatively graded Early Dollar. Wonderful even two-tone antique gray patina. Well struck on both sides with just a bit of wear and fully lustrous. Reverse is AU55 or better and exhibits some wonderful rose and blue highlights on the gray patina. Completely mark free and distraction free. No adjustment marks. Perfect for type. $8750.00
1876-S Dollar NGC MS64 *SOLD - NEW* Very sharply struck overall, with complete head detail, as is often lacking in this type. Light silvery rose patina front and back with full luster. Very pleasing for type. $3250.00
1877-S Dollar NGC MS64 A very attractive choice uncirculated Trade Dollar. Full, sharp strike front and back with blazing cartwheel luster, enhance by pretty blue-green and golden-rose peripheral toning front and back. Trade dollars with pretty, colorful toning are few and far between. $4250.00
1878-CC Dollar NGC MS65 Well struck with very light even golden-rose patina going to deeper golden-rose at the peripheries on both sides. Shimmering cartwheel luster and untouched original. Just lovely to behold and a fairly tough date in GEM. $1750.00
1882 Dollar NGC MS66 A beautifully toned GEM showing light golden patina overall with intense violet-rose and blue peripheral toning framing both sides. Technically strong, fully struck and fully lustrous. $2100.00
1882-CC Dollar PCGS MS66+ *ON HOLD - NEW* Fully struck, brilliant snowy white and glowing luster. Super clean and fully deserving of the "Plus" designation. PCGS Price Guide shows this date in MS67 at $9000. This just miss Superb Gem. $1950.00
1884-CC Dollar NGC MS66PL A very appealing light Cameo constrasts deeply mirrored fields on both sides. Not quite deep enough for a DPL designation, but close. This piece is a solid 66+ technically with wonderful overall eye-appeal. Brilliant white. $1350.00
1892 Dollar NGC PF65 CAMEO *NEW* Truly exceptional and easily in the top 3-4% of the grade. Very well struck for a date that normally comes weak at the high points of Liberty’s hair. Full, strong, undisturbed CAMEO on both sides contrasting very deep mirrors…just on the edge of Ultra Deep designation and more deserving than many so designated. Brilliant white and haze free. Very flashy with Stong Eye-appeal. $6750.00
