1752-Mo Pillar Dollar ICG AU50 Pillar Dollar - Mexico-Ferdinand VI. A very pleasing, well struck original AU example of this very popular New World coin. Original deep gray, going darker in the around the devices, giving this piece particularly strong eye-appeal. The Spanish Coloninal Pillar Dollar was the most widely circulating coinage of the American colonies and is widely collected in US type sets. $900.00
1799 Dollar PCGS VF30 *SOLD - NEW* Pleasing two-tone original with a strong obverse strike and very strong reverse strike. Problem free with top end eye-appeal. $2950.00
1799 Dollar NGC AU58 *NEW* A very pleasing stone original with even medium silvery gray patina overall. Strong and even strike on both sides showing virtually complete hair detail, drapery folds, wing feathers, complete lines in the shield and considerable luster on both sides. No problems or adjustment marks. Great type coin. $12800.00
1800 Dollar NGC AU58 *NEW* Very pleasing and original near uncirculated specimen of this better date and variety. Sharply struck overall with medium gray and silvery rose patina on strong luster. $16500.00
1836 Dollar NGC PF64 *NEW* Very choice and beautifully toned example of this CLASSIC United States Pattern. Deep, bright blue obverse with blue and violet reverse. Fully struck and fully reflective. $55000.00
1859-O Dollar PCGS MS62 Fully struck with very clean surfaces for the grade and blazing luster. Champagne rose patina overall. $3000.00
1862 Dollar NGC MS62* *SOLD - NEW* (Star Designated by NGC) Among 19th Century type coins, Seated Dollars with beautiful toning are among the scarcest of all. Bearing out this observation is the fact that NGC has only awarded Stars to a total of 12 Seated Dollars. This coin is not only a much tougher date (compare a pop of 9 MS62's to the 1860-O which has a pop of 137 in MS62), but the most beautifully toned Seated Dollar I have personally seen. Basically brilliant in the center right circular portion of the obverse, light violet toning begins in a bullseye pattern, then going out into the fields is bright, royal blue. Reverse is brilliant with a frame of blue and violet gold peripheral, mostly rim toning. Complete, sharp strike on both sides with bright, somewhat prooflike fields. GORGEOUS Seated Dollar. $6450.00
1864 Pattern Dollar, J-397 PCGS PR66BN *SOLD - NEW* Pop: 1, finest graded, with one other graded PR65BN. Absolutely GORGEOUS CAMEO (not designated) Copper Proof showing stunning color. Bright blue-green toning overall with the bright, strong CAMEO devices jumping off the surfaces in contrast to the deeply mirrored fields. Both STUNNING in appearance and extremely rare. $37500.00
1877-S Dollar ANACS MS63 Very sharp strike, semi-PL, with light silvery-golden patina overall. $1750.00
1877-S Dollar NGC MS64 A very attractive choice uncirculated Trade Dollar. Full, sharp strike front and back with blazing cartwheel luster, enhance by pretty blue-green and golden-rose peripheral toning front and back. Trade dollars with pretty, colorful toning are few and far between. $4250.00
1878-CC Dollar NGC MS65 Well struck with very light even golden-rose patina going to deeper golden-rose at the peripheries on both sides. Shimmering cartwheel luster and untouched original. Just lovely to behold and a fairly tough date in GEM. $1750.00
1880 Dollar NGC PF66+* CAMEO *NEW* ("Simpson" Pedigree, Edgeview Holder) This Morgan Proof has a holder with every designation...Plus, Star and Cameo...more importantly, the coin is STUNNING and I would gladly add it to my type set if I could afford it. Basically brilliant with lovely white Cameo devices on both sides, this gorgeous Proof is finished with violet rose and blue peripheral toning on both sides. Eye-Popping Eye-Appeal. $10850.00
1881 Dollar NGC PF64 CAMEO *NEW* Super pleasing and very attractive Proof. A hint of even violet patina overall going to deeper violet and blue and peripheries. Both sides toned virtually identically. Nice CAMEO on bright, fully reflective fields. Choice Proof. $5750.00
1881-CC Dollar PCGS MS65 Snowy white Cameo devices contrast semi-prooflike fields on both sides of this flashy brilliant white dollar. Fully struck with glowing cartwheel luster. $1250.00
1882 Dollar NGC MS66 *NEW* A beautifully toned GEM showing light golden patina overall with intense violet-rose and blue peripheral toning framing both sides. Technically strong, fully struck and fully lustrous. $2100.00
1882 Dollar PCGS PR63 CAMEO Completely brilliant and untoned. Very thick, snowy white, undisturbed CAMEO devices on both sides contrast nicely reflective fields. A few hairlines account for the grade and the affordable price. Top-end eye-appeal for the price. $4150.00
1884-CC Dollar NGC MS65PL Very flashy brilliant white Cameo Prooflike with virtually mark-free devices and fairly deep mirrors. Very strong technically and a great look for the grade. Borderline Deep Mirror. $875.00
1884-CC Dollar NGC MS66PL A very appealing light Cameo constrasts deeply mirrored fields on both sides. Not quite deep enough for a DPL designation, but close. This piece is a solid 66+ technically with wonderful overall eye-appeal. Brilliant white. $1350.00
