*SOLD - NEW* Another great type coin from the recently purchased private collection and among the most lovely and pleasing circulated Draped Bust halves to cross my path. Originally sold by APRC and now back in inventory. Well struck front and back, this piece features a lovely blend of medium silvery blue and rose patina on both sides, which is considerably more pronounced with the coin in hand than on the photo. Completely problem free and as appealing as the type gets.

The second of two major Reeded Edge types. In 1936 and 1937, these coins show "50 Cents" at the bottom reverse. In 1838 and 1839 that is replaced with "Half Dol." Although not scarce, this date is seldom seen. This piece is a wonderful original, light silvery gray overall with bright golden and blue-green highlights. Well struck and lustrous. A very attractive and affordable example of this seldom seen type.
