1806 Half PCGS AU50 *NEW* I almost never buy this grade in Draped Bust halves, because so few certified coins are worth the price. Most are weakly struck or scrubbed or just plain unattractive. Here is an exception. From a dealer’s personal collection, this coin shows a well impressed strike for the issue, with strong hair detail, fully delineated drapery and complete detailing on the reverse. Absolutely lovely medium gray antique patina with areas of lightness and glowing luster in and around the lettering and devices, giving this piece a wonderful look and warm glow. Strictly original with Superb Eye-appeal. $4950.00
1809 Half PCGS XF45 *ON HOLD - NEW* Very pleasing original showing a solid strike on the obverse and strong strike on the reverse. Wonderful two toned antique gray patina. Much flashier than the photo as this coin shows considerable original luster in and around the stars and reverse lettering and is finished with deeper blue-gray peripheral toning on both sides A super early Bust Half. $850.00
1826 Half NGC MS64 A beautiful Bust Half, mostly brilliant with a light golden-rose patina overall, slightly deeper toward the peripheries. Sharply struck front and back with full, shimmering luster. $3650.00
1826 Half PCGS MS64 *NEW* Wonderful fully struck original. Even medium to deep silvery rose patina over full luster. Tried for MS65 by one of the most successful crack-out dealers. $3850.00
1827 Half PCGS AU55 *SOLD - NEW* Wonderful stone original with very attractive silvery rose patina overall and lovely blue highlighting the peripheries of both sides. Nicely struck overall with strong glowing luster. $715.00
1828 Half PCGS AU50 *SOLD - NEW* Sister to the above coin and from the same collection. Similar virgin original patina with lovely deep blue in the right fields and around the peripheries on both sides. Strong strike and considerable luster. $600.00
1832 Half NGC MS64 *NEW* Very strong strike front and back with full drapery and hair curls, full eagle feathers and motto. Just slight weakness on the clasp is more than compensated by SUPERB color and Eye-Appeal. Even very light rose overall, the obverse is finished with beautiful rose and bright blue peripheral toning from 10 to 5 o’clock on the obverse and a blend of bright silvery rose going to beautiful blue peripheral toning on the reverse. Full, bright, shimmering luster overall. A gorgeous Bust Half. $4100.00
1853 Half NGC AU58 *SOLD - NEW* Perfect original, virtually mark free with just a hint of wear on the high points. Wonderful even medium silver gray patina, just how you want it. Considerable remaining luster. Much more pleasing than most grading low MS. Great one-year type. $1250.00
1856-O Half NGC MS64 *NEW* Super nice No Motto type that starts with a full, sharp strike on both sides. Mostly brilliant with lovely rose and blue peripheral toning on the obverse and just some light peripheral toning on the reverse. Fully lustrous and pleasing in every way $2500.00
